The Maternity Services Liaison Committee (MSLC) for Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospital’s Trust wanted a logo to help them set up some brand recognition. Made up of volunteers, commissioners and providers of maternity care in the area, the MSLC structure is complicated but they had one simple mission, which was to make maternity better in their local area.
I was able to help MSLC Queen’s establish their first ever logo and their first branding guidelines, to help them on the role of becoming more of a professional user-led group.
Working with Richard was really easy. He sent through a lot of ideas so that we could think more about what we wanted and helped us achieve our fantastic new logo and branding guidelines.
Design for print examples
A well designed logo is often the focus when communicating an idea, but is only a start point in sharing what it’s all about. That’s why we need to think about your identity. It’s formed from all the elements you can communicate with; logo, colours, fonts, images, graphics, as well as the things you say and how you say them (tone of voice).
