Painted during the service at Hoole Baptist Church 3/3/13
The first image ‘Nervous’, for me, represents new ideas or directions (as bubbles), nervously floating through a newly opened doorway. that has been broken down out of the way for them. The second image ‘Rising and Sharing’ shows the bubbles (or congregation) rising out of the bubbling water (turmoil) and bursting in a positive way. As bubbles do burst we often get splashed by water, almost like the sharing of God with other with the water of life… Does this mean anything to you?
Recorded during the break in the service at Hoole Baptist Church 3/3/13.
Experimental looped sounds, people were invited to add a sound in response to a service about the mustard seed parable (“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field; which indeed is smaller than all seeds. But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches.”) …Does this mean anything to you?
